Bay Area thrash metal legends return to European shores. In a short Exodus interview, guitarist Gary Holt tells what to expect plus confirmed dates are listed in full.
Contemporaries of the mighty Metallica, thrash titans Exodus return to Europe for a series of headlining dates and festival shows. Starting in April, the band will play a string of club dates in the UK and Europe, including shows at the Underworld in London and the Cathouse in Glasgow. They will then return in July for more headline dates (supported by Canadian metallers 3 Inches Of Blood) interspersed with festival shows, including slots at the prestigious Wacken Open Air in Germany. Guitarist and Exodus founder member Gary Holt says there will be more dates to come. Oh, and he also claims he's coming to kick you square in the mouth...
Suite 101: So what can fans expect from the shows?
Gary: “Well, we'll be doing the same thing we always do when we come to the UK and Europe. We love it there and we come and we kick people square in the mouth and I think we do it better than anybody. We’ve got our boots on so we’re going to kick especially hard this time!”
Suite 101: Nice. You're doing quite an extensive Euro festival circuit as well. Will you be needing your travel Atlas for that?
Gary: “Yeah, there’s some stuff we can’t talk about right now because they’re not confirmed but we’re doing a bunch of dates I don’t even know the names of. But we should be doing doing the Hole In The Sky in Norway and something in the Czech Republic and one in Slovenia and one in Spain - I’ll get around to memorising them later. Doing the festivals is always a lot of fun though.”
